These past 2 weeks have indeed helped me realize this as I've had them off and have been working for most of it. The days I looked less attractive I would receive more declines of simple offers from the stylists clients such as an offer for water or tea or even a hand and arm massage. I guess beauty does play an important roll in my life. It seems not only that but when I take the time and effort to put time and effort into myself people seem to notice me more. Although this is indeed sad that in this culture I live in we take such pride and interest in beauty but most of us refuse to take an extra few minutes from our lives to put the effort in.
On another beauty related note, eating healthy is a big plus for your complexion! Along with basic skin care I've been influencing Korean and Japanese foods into my diet focusing most of this on the consumption of green tea and seaweed. Japanese green tea containing matcha powder is one of the strongest forms of antioxidants in the world that we know of, this helps keep our complexion glowing and healthy. Seaweed on the other hand is full of vitamins and minerals, which exact ones I'm not too sure but seaweed helps us keep certain amino acid levels in our skin up which helps create elasticity. The elasticity in our skin natural decreases as we age but by consuming seaweed it has been proven that we can build these amino acid levels overtime and even considerably so that our levels would be that of someone younger then us!
So I guess the point of this blog is to say take care of your body and it will pay you back - beauty doesn't have to be toxic or unhealthy.
